Step in line for that old jubilee

Break out the booze that's bubilee

String up the flags all flutteree

Bring out the butties all butteree

Now I'm off to enjoy some sceneree

Some ocean breeze and greenery

Forget all about the royal queenery...

...and work on something more serious, perhaps

I'm peeping
at Good Housekeeping
While I should be
Cooking supper
But that rogue
is not in Vogue
with me any more - so
I will not wear the Tupper
I shall just make a cuppa
I've had my share
Of keeping house
now I'll sit and browse
the recipes
in Marie Claire.
So there.

I don't know where I'm going with this. Sounds a bit Pam Ayres-ish. But sometimes you cannot tell where jottings will lead - to the bin or the prize money...  Ho-ho.

My Housekeeping's Good
I cook the food
from Woman's Own
And browse celebs
From London town
But, OK, I'm a Woman
Who's good Company
Who likes to be
Red on the street
Turn up the Heat
And feel the beat
That's enough
I've done with roamin'
I'm going back
To Woman & Home.
