Directing Act 5 Scene 1
Students are tasked with thinking about how they would direct the famous sleepwalking scene for a new production. The first activity requires them to produce a set of 'director's notes' for the actors which look at language, key words or phrases and body language.
The second activity asks students to write something for the theatre programme, explaining to the audience key elements of the scene including how the character of Lady Macbeth has changed since the start of the play and how the scene fits with the rest of the play.
