Introduction to types of newspaper

A group task for students, looking at different types of newspapers and their features. There is a template provided which students should complete with definitions and examples of national, regional, local, tabloid and broadsheet newspapers. 

The next stage of the activity requires students to take different styles of newspaper and analyse the content, including headlines, types of story covered and language used.
