Act 1 Scene 1 comprehension tasks
A selection of tasks to support students' understanding of the opening scene of Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare. In the first activity, students are given some key quotes from the scene and are asked to write down what happened just before, any unfamiliar words and their meaning and the overall meaning of the quote.
Students are then given some general comprehension questions about the scene.
