A creative way of getting students to think about setting and progression in their creative writing. A series of scaffolded tasks starting with using a map to create a 'journey', developing through research, images, vocabulary building, planning and editing. Lots of fun and gives students plenty of choices.
4. Choose a character, atmosphere and scenario/plot from the grid below. You are going to craft a story shaped around a journey they take between the places you have researched and described.
