Key word tables - 'Oliver Twist' by Charles Dickens

Key vocabulary from the text or about Dickens' life. The tables are organised by themes, for example, Victorian life, crime and endings. Students are asked to find and write definitions and sample sentences. Could also be used for peer spelling tests in class. Ideal as a homework activity.

  2. Write an example of how that word might be used in a sentence of your own.
  3. Learn the spellings of these key words for a quick test in class.
