'The Passionate Man's Pilgrimage' by Sir Walter Raleigh

Useful as an introduction to Elizabethan poetry (other than that by Shakespeare!). Students read the poem and annotate it in groups, focusing on content, language, poetic techniques, tone and mood and rhyme and rhythm.
