A card game for students to play when studying dramatic techniques or reading a class play. In pairs, students test each other's knowledge by describing the technique and giving an example from the play they are studying. The dramatic techniques covered include:
- soliloquy
- foreshadowing
- stage directions
- pathetic fallacy
- dramatic irony
- stichomythia
- entrances
- exits
- timing.
Teaching notes are included and there is a differentiated version of the cards for students who would like to add their own reasons or effects.
