The steps to death

Recognise, sequence and record the mistakes made by characters that lead to a tragic end. Works best when enlarged to A3.

This is another worksheet that I keep as a basic template because it works for all kinds of texts. Quick to fill in - easy to understand.

You can also produce one's where the steps go up - and up and down.

It also works having students make variable sized steps - big ones for what was a really bad move.

Or have two step sheets for two characters - try plotting Othello on one sheet and Iago on another.

Using this as the play is read will be an excellent way to memorize the theme for students in Year 9 in Victoria, Australia.
