Bingo: character and plot

A bingo activity with questions ranging across the whole text for students to revise the plot, characters and some techniques. Students fill in their grid with key words and tick them off as the relevant clue is read out.

Example questions

  • Eva Smith can be called this as she embodies the ‘common person’ and the Inspector can be considered this as he represents collective conscience. Symbol
  • Who calls and disturbs the family’s smug celebrations? Inspector Goole
