Sequencing George Bush's 9/11 address to the nation

Using clues in the speech to guide them, students put the speech in the correct order and try to work out who gave it and when. An answer sheet is also attached.

As lead-in to discussing the ordering and presenting of ideas in oral texts. Students sequenced the speech,then explained their choice of order.This was followed by a discussion of key ideas that were presented Also used as a starting point for annotating, then analysing language techniques and their intended effect.Excellent, thank you!
