'Blessing'

A series of activities based on Imtiaz Dharker's poem 'Blessing'.

The resource includes ideas for pre-reading, to familiarise students with its context, some questions to prompt students' understanding of the poem, and a number of writing opportunities to complete in response to the poem, based on the poem's central theme of water.

The activities would be suitable for looking at the poem as an unseen poem.
