A pre-reading and creative writing activity based on the war poem 'The Last Laugh' by Wilfred Owen. In the first activity students are given words from the poem in alphabetical order and are asked to identify what they think the poem might be about. For the second activity they're tasked with writing their own poem using a given selection of words.
