Multicultural London English

A helpful and engaging resource which introduces students the key features of Multicultural London English (MLE) and attitudes towards its use in recent press coverage. Students look at two online news articles, identify MLE's linguistic features (lexical, grammatical and discourse etc.) and consider recent linguistic research.
