At Castle Boterel

A useful set of questions to develop students' analysis of Thomas Hardy's celebrated poem, 'At Castle Boterel'. There is a guided annotation task which encourages students to make notes on each stanza, followed by questions on Hardy's presentation of himself and his wife in the poem. There are also questions on metre and sound.
