Word formation
A PowerPoint presentation outlining John Algeo's classifications for the formation of new words, with an accompanying worksheet in Word for students to practise grouping words according to these classifications. Some of the suggested words for classification reflect changes in technology in the early 21st century and would be interesting to explore from a language change perspective as they are now archaic or obsolete.
