A set of bingo cards with examples and definitions for added challenge to help students revise or consolidate their understanding of key phonology terms.<a class="cke_combo_button" hidefocus="true" title="Font Size" tabindex="-1" "="" role="button" aria-labelledby="cke_14_label" aria-haspopup="true" style="font-size: 12px; box-sizing: content-box; background-image: -webkit-gradient(linear, 0% 100%, 0% -100, from(rgb(255, 255, 255)), to(rgb(211, 211, 211))); background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; cursor: auto; margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px; padding: 2px 4px 2px 6px; border: 0px; width: auto; height: 22px; vertical-align: baseline; position: static; transition: none 0s ease 0s; border-collapse: collapse; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; border-radius: 5px; display: inline !important;">

The teacher reads out definitions and/or examples of each phonological term.  As students recognise each term, they should tick or cross out the term on their bingo card. The first student to get a ‘full house’ and identify all of the terms on their card is the winner! Includes teaching notes with suggestions for managing the activity in the classroom.
