Eight introductory discussion tasks and practical activities looking at lexis and semantics to help students to explore gender representation and stereotypes. Some of the student tasks involved a detailed language focus looking at connotation, denotation, diminutives, vocatives and semantic derogation. Includes an extension or homework research task on gender.
