‘Typically, a mistrust of women’s virtue is at the root of men’s jealousy’. In light of this view, discuss Shakespeare’s presentation of Othello and Desdemona’s relationship in this extract and elsewhere in the play.

The extract is from Act 4 Scene 2 from the lines ‘My lord, what is your will?’ until ‘I pray you, turn the key and keep our counsel.’
